Spoken like a true purist. Glad you were not a general in the wars. You have to be innovative, and think outside the box to protect the number of citizens at risk in America.

And, I am thrilled that views like yours are not in the decision making process. Most people in war do not have pristine situations in which to operate. And, like it or not, we are in a war situation.

New york is not 'the battlefield'. Shutting off cell phones just makes it harder to find folks in the event of an incident, the terrorists rarely use the high tech, a lesson we refuse to learn. Fertilizer and Washing Machine timers. If you think about it 9/11 wasn't particurally high tech either. They used tiny knives to hijack a really big object to throw at he really big towers. I think background checks for Koran sales would do more than would cutting off cell phone calls. Just makes NY less business freindly and backward.
