Wonderful. Now if you have an emergency in the tunnel you can't call. I know it's needful, but I am getting pissed off that our freedoms and lives are being twisted by these Islamist pricks, and we won't REALLY tackle the problem, but paper it over with idiotic airline screening of 80 year old Grandma's etc.
As I recall there are emergency call boxes on the subway cars.
True- eliminating the source of the threat is the ultimate security solution.
How is it needful? Bombs only go off when connected to cell phones? Just another example of the police state eliminating freedoms from its own citizens for no benefit at all other than for the politicians to strut around saying "see what we did to make you safe." Of course in NYC the sheep believe them.
You are correct but - we have to fight as we can fight, we have to disrupt their current plans. Of course they will compensate and work around us, but we will also compensate and work around any of their efforts we become aware of.
I am proud that they are working on actions that will disrupt the terror plans. So much better to miss a phone call than to have to dig 100 bodies out of the subway. This is not permanent, but we have to fight as we can fight - otherwise, we are just sheep being slaughtered at the whim of the terrorists.
In wartime when the bombs were raining on England, they did not complain that their freedom to stay out in the street was taken away. They fought with what they had and we will do the same to protect our families.
I agree. Wait until they use a lap-top computer to detonate a bomb at a Starbuck's somewhere. I guess lap-tops will be for forbidden in public. To coin a phrase: "Bombs don't kill people...terrorists do".
