Yes, I had to replace an old copper pipe with one made of PVC, fortunately I caught the leak before it got bad. I went into the laundry room to wash my work clothes and I felt a mist of water hitting my arm, and at first I couldn't see where it was coming from, and then I saw a tiny little spray of water coming from one of the pipes. I have been slowly replacing all of our Copper pipes with PVC, I'm down to about 15 or so more to go :-)
