Special prayers tonight for our two new prayer requests.

StarFan is requesting prayers for her son's friend Scott (USMC), who just ended basic and will soon be deployed to the Mid-East.

Warriormom is requesting prayers for the Navy Seal missing in Afghanistan, whose 4 man commando unit was attacked, with 2 killed and 1 rescued.

We also pray for the dead in the helicopter crew and rescue team who were shot down while trying to rescue them.

Thank you for posting the dose. Much appreciated by lurkers *(mostly) like me. I am so glad the President is home! But I know he will miss Laura on her trip to Africa. It just seems the pace of news and world events is speeding up a bit. Much prayer needed all around. (Including for you, snugs - for you and your father - heartfelt prayers today for you both).
