Another way to stop abuse is to get some coaching about hooking up with strangers without "vetting" their family and friends. And staying the hell away from drinking and drugs. I admit it. I'm a hardliner. And it's just advice.

That is why I no longer go to SM.. and I certainly wouldn't donate money to that blog. Natalee and her family are the victims here. I will never go to Aruba, nor will I encourage anyone else to go there. I have my open water diving permit.. and have considered going there years ago, but never again. If I went there, it would be to go to look for Nat, to keep the people in jail who did this to her. She would never have left her wonderful family on her own, only against her will. It makes me sick.. just like those blaming the family for speaking out against the bungled investigation. They certainly hauled off the cars of the 2 security guards the guys pointed their fingers to in blame, and went in their home, confiscating items for evidence, yet... didn't go into JVDS home for weeks after the investigation.... and they think the investigation isn't bungled? That would have never happened in the states. This I know. The guys last seen with her would have been under suspicion, even after they told their story. They would have been given a lie detector test, as well. Beth has been nicer than most people would have been. A frend of mine's son's luggage was confiscated overseas and she threw an ugly fit! Over luggage! He wasn't even missing. Give me a break Aruba. No one blames the citizens of Aruba for the bungled investigation, only the LE, but keep it up, and you won't look good at all.

Not to mention the lost (because they never collected it) forensic evidence. A detective on Fox said that most police work these days is forensic.

The trolls haven't completely taken over, over there. But, they are outrageous! The MB kids are there now, answering questions. Some real insulting ones, too. They're holding their own!

Missing teen's mom apologizes to Arubans

ORANJESTAD, Aruba - The mother of an Alabama teenager who vanished apologized Friday for criticizing Aruban authorities' handling of the investigation, saying she spoke out of fear and frustration following the release of two brothers who have been connected to the case.

Beth Holloway Twitty said she never intended to offend Arubans with her remarks Tuesday, which triggered a street protest from citizens frustrated with the negative attention on their Dutch Caribbean island.

"The statements I made on July 5 were fueled by fear and frustration," Holloway Twitty told a news conference. "The Aruban people have been especially kind and generous and especially supportive."

"I would like to apologize to the Aruban people and the Aruban authorities," she added.

Natalee Holloway disappeared May 30 in Aruba while celebrating her graduation from high school in Mountain Brook, Alabama.

Aruban prosecutors have appealed a judge's decision to release the two brothers, Deepak Kalpoe, 21, and Satish Kalpoe, 18, for lack of evidence.

On Tuesday, Holloway Twitty insisted the two brothers were involved in a violent crime against her daughter and pleaded with other countries not to grant them safe haven if they try to leave Aruba.

The Mom has been amazing. And she was totally right to blast the Aruban investigation. (Should not have apologized). I too will NEVER go to Aruba, not that I ever considered it.

I think they dumped the body in the shark area by the lighthouse and think they are home free. I hope the US Navy can find her, but they might not. The SMIRKING, it is just the worst. And the 'what-me-worry' attitude! I am sorry. What a sorry sand-pit of a dump. I hope tourism goes in the toilet.

That said, I find it disgraceful that some on these threads are doing everything in their power to besmirch Natalee's character based on nothing more than speculation. These individuals have no shame.
