Excellent point. And I'll go further than that, why dont native Jerseyites breed? Why is the white birthrate of this country, and countries throughout the world, so low? It is not even at replenisment level (2.1 babies per couple). Without these immigrants, our population would implode, wreaking all sorts of havoc on our social welfare system. Look at Europe, they are importing as fast as they can and their population is STILL dwindling, and because their welfare system is much more extensive than our own, they will see problems far sooner than we will.

I have four children, three born in NJ. Ten years ago, nearly every family with children that I knew, had only one or two, and they generally old enough to be done.

Now three is probably the most common family size where we live, and four is not "wow" any more.

Of course, all the women who don't have children, don't live in this exurban family town. And I bet that something like a quarter of the girls I went to school with twenty-five years ago don't have children.

Lots of Indian and Chinese immigrants in our town. My daughter hangs out with the Asians, academic achievers. A fair number of the Chinese are Christians.

Next town over has a lot of Hispanic immigrants. Expensive enough that it requires sacrifice and hard work to live in the poorer sections. They don't seem to be assimilating as much as the Asians. When I've gone to Spanish Mass, it is touching to see the back section of the church filled with young men, alone, who still care enough about their faith to go to Mass.

Saw a Muslim woman yesterday, an American convert, with her seven children in tow, looked like she'd married a Pakistani.

Sure do wish Americans would have their own babies, stop Muslim immigration, and limit the rest.

FYI, the more education a couple has, the less children they will have. They are usually responsible enough and intelligent enough to look ahead and don't produce more offspring than they can afford. On the other hand, the illegals look for government handouts to support their children, so they don't worry about being responsible parents.

I don't think the solution is for everyone to breed out of control, trying to outdo the other. We need to quit the handouts and deport the illegals. If they want to breed irresponsibly, let their own countries pay for it.

The problem is that native born, do BREED, but then they ABORT. Thats why we need 110% ProLife Supreme Court replacements.
