Even if the bike accident wasn't W's fault, I sincerely believe he'd still take the blame (and of course be very concerned about the officer regardless). That is the difference between W and Kerry, in a nutshell.
Thank God for our President. And God bless the British people and Mr. Blair.
He didn't take the blame - in public, anyway. It's not known what happened.
But it was typical of him to show concern, and to do everything he could to make sure the guy was well taken care of.
In scary times like these, I really appreciate (one of his favorite words :-)) having our President be the kind of man who cares about everyone, but isn't afraid to do away with evildoers.
Could we do away with the 22nd Amendment for just this one case?
