A suicide bomber would only kill himself. A homicide bomber murders others.
Maybe they ought to make it perfectly clear and just refer to them as, F@#!^#$ Mass Murderers.
I've never liked the term Homicide Bomber. I know that it is used to emphasize the "homicide", but just about any bomber is a homicide bomber. Eric Rudolph is a "homicide bomber". Suicide bombers kill themselves and others too.
