As much as I like blam, because he has dogs and stuff, I offer up CindyDawg. That way she gets more practice and we have a better shot at rain.

Boy .. do I remember that .. VIPR is awesome, and Jerve is the greatest. At times he and Jennifer Hill had so much information they were getting, you had to listen really clearly to get the scoop through their crosstalk. When I was without power for days, my portable radio with TV channels was a godsend so I could listen to them.

Have a home north of Panama City. Out of town right now.
We left last year during Ivan. Heard from many folks in PC who stayed behind during Ivan, they said they would not do so again. Pretty intense afternoon & evening before Ivan made landfall.
I hope Pensacola doesn't take a lickin' again. Folks we know from over there are still not back to normal.
Stay safe.

Not sure...is that Denis something or other, he's on the ABC affiliate.
Mostly we watch Jerve, Fletcher, and Delgado.

Hey now. I have a dog too and horses. We just bought some land out in the country in Hardin. I'm here and they are there. I keep shooing that thing east.

"I've got to find out if they have the roof on my house yet. I don't think they've gotten that far. Good grief." Tell me. We had a guy down the street lose his roof last night.

Oh my! Was that a new roof post Ivan, or what?

I think we can all agree on that. CindyDawg gets Dennis and we get a 50% chance of showers. No logical person could complain about that.
To: blam
OMG! It was bad down that way, wasn't it?
We just had mild winds here, compared to Ivan, lots of rain.
To: CindyDawg
Hardin? Heck, that will make us practically neighbors.
I understand about the dogs and stuff, but blam needs a break. . . and you need the practice.
And Houston needs the rain.

"Oh my! Was that a new roof post Ivan, or what?" Yup. He did it himself, used good material (the heavy duty metal) but did a poor job installing.

You take a lot of met classes or something? You seem to know quite a bit, though you aren't a met major.

I don't want to distract from Dennis which we'll still be talking about early next week, but check out what's leaving Africa.
It already is indicating circulation to me, and it's not even close to being a tropical storm yet.
To: Letitring
"OMG! It was bad down that way, wasn't it?" The wind had to be more than reported. I didn't get the rain that they kept showing for Mobile.

Yeah. The best thing would be for it to blow it's self out in an unpopulated area of Mexico and be a good rain maker for us but yall think it will turn though? I just checked and TWC still predicting it will go east.

Get a video card that can handle smoothing (the latest NVIDIA cards can, as well as some ones that are a bit older).
Get GRLevel3 radar software.
Modify the color tables to look like VIPR.
It is like you have your own personal VIPR. It is flippin' sweet.
