Do you think some of these posters will ever stop obsessing over the Schiavo case so we can focus on the problem we are having saving unborn babies. This hysteria over the death of a middle aged brain dead women is hurting the anti-abortion movement. Through science and ethics we had nearly reached the point where we had humanized the fetus to the general population and the sentiment was beginning to become even more prevalent with ultra sound and the ability to save premature babies at an earlier and earlier stage of pregnancy. We did not employ lies, slander and hyperbole as those claiming to be our allies have done in the Schiavo case. Pro abortion proponent's were quick to lump these nut-cases with a movement that has worked hard to shed the very image these hysterics present to the general population. There will be a back lash as people recoil from these loud rude ignoramus's and say see? They are all nuts.

Get real. You have spread lies in order to dehumanize disabled people. How does that humanize unborn people?

"They are all nuts."

Well then get yourself out of the peanut factory before you catch some flees.

The cause of fighting euthanasia/assisted suicide is just as important as abortion.

You're complaining about people obsessing over her death? You have as many posts as anyone on this thread.

Pot, kettle.

You are NOT part of the right to life movement! The right to life movement has a clear policy on abortion AND euthanasia. Visit the online site of the NRL and you will see that abortion is only one front of the death culture movement that is being fought.

National Right To Life-Euthanasia

"... we must be wary of those who are too willing to end the lives of the elderly and the ill. If we ever decide that a poor quality of life justifies ending that life, we have taken a step down a slippery slope that places all of us in danger. There is a difference between allowing nature to take its course and actively assisting death. The call for euthanasia surfaces in our society periodically, as it is doing now under the guise of "death with dignity" or assisted suicide. Euthanasia is a concept, it seems to me, that is in direct conflict with a religious and ethical tradition in which the human race is presented with " a blessing and a curse, life and death," and we are instructed '...therefore, to choose life." I believe 'euthanasia' lies outside the commonly held life-centered values of the West and cannot be allowed without incurring great social and personal tragedy. This is not merely an intellectual conundrum. This issue involves actual human beings at risk..." -- C. Everett Koop, M.D. *
