Terri did not refuse the feeding tube. Judge Greer ordered the removal of her feeding tube, and denied any and all attempts to provide hydration and/or nutrition in any manner, including orally. Why do you support his decision to impose these orders on Terri? Do you believe he has the right to impose the same orders on you? Do you believe that you should be subject to the same rules you want other people to be subject to?
I believe that people have the right to refuse medical treatment. I believe people have the right to have their advance medical directives honored.
