My mother worked in a state hospital for the retarded. There were hundreds of patients in that single hospital. I don't know the numbers, but if every state has at least one hospital like that, there must be tens of thousands of these people. Some of them are born so disabled that they are incapable of learning anything--my pet fish has a boundless intellect next to them. I know that the Felos' and Greers of this world would love to wipe them all out.
