Possibly, but weren't you surprised too at the outpouring of "moderate" Republicans who emphatically endorsed her killing!
Those who supported Terri's murder were few and far between. "Conservatives" who supported her murder were even fewer. However, I was shocked (& still am) at the number of morally void people who came forward to brag about their murderous cravings. Even though they were an extreme minority, there were still more than I ever would have believed.
Something that didn't surprise me was that the same people who fought against Terri's right to life continue to fight against the right of others to live. They told us to mind our own business and allow Mae Magouirk to be murdered. They still refer to disabled people in the most vile terms.
