WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Congressman Mike Pence issued the following statement today regarding the death of Terri Schiavo:

"I grieve today with the Schindler family and millions of Americans at the death of their precious daughter, Terri Schiavo. With her death, America lost not only a precious citizen, America lost its innocence.

"Although Terri Schiavo's life may be over, the debate over the rights of incapacitated Americans is not over. Congress must right this wrong by ensuring that incapacitated Americans may not be deprived of their inalienable right to life without the assurance of the due process of law that our federal courts were established to protect. This will be Terri Schiavo's legacy."

NEW FROM LAST NIGHT 10:00 PM EST - Kelly Ring anchor reporting Fox Channel 13, Tampa Bay: It gets even worse. The State of Florida didn't forfeit 60 million dollars from the Medicaid program. Somehow the State of Florida, hold on, removed/diverted/? ONE HUNDRED FIFTEEN MILLION from the Medicaid program. The broadcast last night did not utter a word about the funds going into Florida's general fund. Their first report said the money went to the state's general fund.

Since Terri's passing, disabled children and adults have received letters from Medicaid that their services under Medicaid "are stopped". The Medicaid patients are told by Medicaid that they have no money but they fail to say why they have no money.

So, imo Medicaid is playing along with the State about the money. They interviewed a guy last night who has some developmentally disabled problems and he gave his own interview to Fox 13. He did a great job on camera.

They showed his Medicaid "stop" letter on Fox 13 and this guy's mom said that Medicaid told them that the state of Florida can only serve 40 clients (per year?). IN A STATE THE SIZE OF FLORIDA. So, the guy from last night is on the infamous waiting list. He'll finally get help in 250 years.

What was the State's comment? No comment.

The "stop" letters went out after Terri's death which may just be a cruel irony.

Where's the money? And, here's the other problem: Crist is supposed to investigate and stop fraud which he hasn't, and Tom Gallagher is Fla's Chief Financial Officer. They are running against each other for governor and this is a huge scandal.

I applaud Fox 13 for their ongoing coverage of this huge scam against the citizens of Florida. Fox 13 is the only MSM covering this.

If anyone is in contact with media, mainstream or not, please pass this along. The guy they interviewed last night might not be around for his medical treatment in 250 YEARS!

Haven't we heard phrases like "the money is gone" before? HINO's lawyer told the media the money was gone. Now Medicaid is borrowing from their playbook. What is the meaning of the word "gone"?.

Thanks for passing this along and at some point, please contact yout US Senator/Congresscritter. 115 mil ain't hay, neither are allegations that the State of Florida and Medicaid has defrauded it's citizens. And, don't forget that many disabled people and their families PAY TAXES.

Please help Floridians because someone in your state might try this.

WHAT WE KNOW AT THIS POINT:

1. Disabled Floridians (some wards of the state or who have guardians) are being put on a long waiting list (250 yrs) and are being misled by Medicaid.

2. Over fifty agencies are suing the State of Florida over this.

3. Individuals are suing the State of Florida over this.

This post is a Call to Action. If you can help, thanks, FV
