Its a great movie that can be interpeted any old way. It's one of the best adaptations of a classic SF novel ever made.

It's a grm, humorless spectacle. Tom Cruise plays every scene as if he has tiny dentists working on the inside of his mouth. And if they little girl screamed one more time I would have yelled, "toss her to the tripods!"

Just saw this movie tonight. The visuals is impressive, but the story is kind of disappointing. It was rushed. Spielberg's movies are all pretty much predictable these days.

I think the best movie out right now is the Batman movie. Keep in mind I had no desire to see this movie. The previous Batman movies to me were ok at best. However, this one was a surprise. And I highly recommend to see it in the theater.

I was so happy when the son went with the soldiers, but I was disappointed that the screaming girl didn't die early in movie.

Don't intend to see the movie unless it is on TV.

I read "War of the Worlds" many years ago. I remember wondering why Wellls was so famous. The book was boring despite having very interesting ideas. Same could be said for "The Invisible Man".
