I'm going to get creamed for saying this but marriage sure seemed to last longer when brothels were legal. It may be a terrible thought but Ms. Kitty may have helped keep the home on the range.

I have a credit line at Madame Fong's Hospitality House out here in Nevada. Man, you are right!!! ;-)

I really wasn't trying to be funny with that comment. I'm from New Orleans and just the historical aspect of the conversation made me think about it. I have a few Dutch buddies and what they look for in a wife is completely centered around who would make a good mother. The rest is not a concern.

I always wonder how feminists can rationalize the illegality of prostitution, since their argument for abortion is at odds with it.

Don't they whine something like this, "Keep men's laws off our bodies..." and other such drivel?
What about a woman's right to choose to sell herself?

There are web pages out there that are of the opinion that this is part of the feminists' plan to control men's access to sexual relations. It will only be done on women's terms. Terms dictated by the feminists.

I thought it was an interesting digression anyway...
(Hey, and you didn't get flamed. I'm on fire for my posts!)
