Men screw up the marriage....not women. Women are programmed and capable of living alone.....men aren't. They always want the 'wife' and the 'single life' ---never grow up. Don't blame women...It's mens fault. Woa i think your wrong. How many 25 year old guys want to get married? Zero. How many women? A majority. Many men do end up single for their entire lives. And to call all men cheaters is simply not correct because now women cheat just as much as men do.

I believe you are partly right...

In their 20's, its usually the girl wanting marriage and the guy running. But what I've observed is that in their later/ post 40 years, many widowed/divorced women are intent to stay single and many older men are frantic to find someone.

Maybe its because women have social circles etc that they've formed. Maybe its because many feel free for the first time (I'm thinking of my mother here). I know of a couple of cases where older men have married because "they couldn't stand being alone in their house". One married a woman he didn't even like that much, but hey! He had a body under the roof ;)

Granted, this is just in my family and community, so it may be an anomaly.
