no female computer engineers Uh...

From experience, there are still next to nil female Comp. Sci. people. Where I work the ratio is 8 males to 1 female. This is in a conservative part of Michigan however, so there may be differences.

Most physicists are males too. The main difference I see if that males tend to do the hard sciences not because of a good job like most females, but becasue their heads are so far in the clouds trying to find the secrets of the universe that they're naturally inclined to it, and so make most of the important discoveries. I have rarely seen a female with her head in the clouds, and will continue to see it this way until I see more weird eccentrics like a female version of Kurt Godel and the like.

Still there's a ton of scholarships for minority, women, over 30, and practically none for white males between 17 and 20.
