This brings up a good point - ditch Outlook and use Thunderbird or almost any other mail client. Outlook is well known for its insecure nature, plus Thunderbird keeps all your mail in a text file, so it's very easy to deal with if something bad does happen (also easy to back up and access with a simple text editor).
