IMHO a judge is there to administer sentence and rulings in accordance with the law of the land or in your case your Constitution.

That's exactly right, snugs. Unfortunately, the advanced deterioration of educational standards in our country has resulted in a populace that really doesn't understand how "the system" is supposed to work. They quick to pronounce it "broken" but haven't a clue on how it should be fixed.
