How in the hell did he kill all those people and take the two kids all by him self? I'm stumped.

According to an article posted upthread, autopsy revealed that Brenda Groene & McKenzie (?) had been using marijuana & meth. Perhaps the adults were wasted?

They may have been wasted, but we still don't know how Duncan knew this family? And how did his association with them slip through the cracks?
