MAybe the Dems can get cloning legalized long enough to get a Karl Marx or Josef Stalin facsimile on the Supreme Court.

"Moderate" nominee is code word for the left to select anti-abortion nominee.

Simply put, it doesn't matter one hill of beans how "moderate" this nominee is, if they are pro-choice then that is the only thing that matters. It's ROE, ROE, ROE and they will go down fighting to the end to make sure of that.

Tom, Dick & Harry

Tom (Dasshole), Dick (Turban Durbin) and Harry (Dingy Reid), three liberal explorers, were captured by republican cannibals in the jungles of Washington DC.

The cannibal chief (Karl Rove) says to them , “If you pass the Tribal Test we will let you live. Go into the jungle and gather 10 items of the same fruit.”

So the three guys scamper into the woods, and Tom comes back first with 10 apples. The Chief explains the trial to him: “You must shove the fruits up your a$$ without any expression on your face or you will be eaten.”

The first apple was OK, but Tom winced in pain on the second apple, and was promptly killed and went to heaven (he was a good liberal explorer).

Dick comes back with 10 berries, and the chief explains the trial to him as well. Dick doesn't think it should be too tough, and begins. 1.2.3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8... but on the ninth he burst out in laughter and is killed.

Tom and Dick meet in heaven, where Tom asks, “Dick, why did you laugh? You almost got away with it!”

Dick replied, “I couldn't help it. I saw Harry coming with an armload of pineapples.”

Well, if we review Durbin's history, perhaps the new president of Iran would be considered an appropriate moderate judge.

The Democrats have had a bad couple of weeks: 1. Durbin makes embarassing Gitmo statement and has to backtrack. 2. Karl Rove tricks the Democrats into admitting they are liberals and gets free rehashing of some of the more bizzare post 9/11 comments. 3. The SCOTUS comes down with a widely hated eminent domain decision, Kelo, and it is revealed that the 5 most liberal members voted for it while the hated conservatives were all against it. I don't think they have any cards to play right now, especially if GWB happens to mention that his nominee believes in property rights.

Man it was hot here today! It was 96. I was sweating like Senator Dick Durbin at an American Legion convention. Dick needs to take a cold shower.

. . . a columnist noted that the media continued to interview Rats and publicize their views just as they had when the Rats were in charge.

Why change when this is working for us. Every time a Democrat opens his mouth, he reveals how idea free their party is.

Since Hillary is what they consider moderate these days we sure have a problem with a President who hasn't yet been forceful enough to see this through on behalf of those who elected him to do the right thing.

Absolutely. The press coverage today has been wall to wall what the demo/socialists have to say about what type of judge President Bush should appoint and threat after threat of how he'd better not dare appoint a conservative.

Now if memory serves me correctly when it was Slicks turn to fill a vacancy I don't recall the media runinng with microphone in hand to every Republican in the country asking what type of judge did they think Slick should appoint. Nor to I remember any Republican jumping in front of the cameras and threatening Slick to be careful or they would filibuster his pick if they didn't approve or if he didn't first come to them for a pre-approved list of names.

This would be hysterical were it not so sad and pathetic. After all didn't the Ultra Left-Wing Moonbat Socialist Ruth Bader Ginsburg get on the court with a unanimous vote? What in God's name has happened to our country?

President Bush is supposed to heed the advice of this American traitor. Turban Durbin is obviously insane.

Done rather in Satan's name, I think.

"Why change when this is working for us. Every time a Democrat opens his mouth, he reveals how idea free their party is."

The country is becoming increasingly polarized, true, but there are substantial numbers of people who are still taken in by the cant of the left.

Even subtracting votor fraud, the DemonRats got lots of votes in the last four presidential elections. You still hear people ranting about the media being shills for the "Rich Republicans."

As Linda Bowles wrote, "While Johnny and Jill may not be learning how to read, they are learning that: teachers are underpaid, God is irrelevant, big business is ruining the environment, the Bible says driving an SUV is a sin, rewards should be based on need rather than performance, bisexual individuals are under the command of unstable genes, the Alamo was a great Mexican victory, society rather than the individual is responsible for crime, saving the sucker fish is more important than saving farmers, teachers’ pay should be doubled, a diversity of cultures and languages is America’s strength, Thomas Jefferson was a racist, two plus two equals whatever, competition is destructive, the right to be wrong makes wrong right, the Boy Scouts are a hate group, Ronald Reagan is responsible for the disappearance of the dinosaurs, the Catholic Church is a hate group, defending yourself promotes violence, the government is the source from which all blessings flow, Southern Baptists are a hate group, high taxes are good for America, equality is more important than excellence, carbon dioxide is poisoning the world, cops hate black people, putting a condom on a cucumber is child’s play, the Salvation Army is a hate group, the Constitution is obsolete, God is a homophobe, porpoises are smarter than people, the Constitution requires the government to censor religious speech, taxes are the same as charitable contributions, boys and girls are exactly the same except girls are better, the toleration of evil is a virtue, moral discernment is a hate crime, cutting taxes is like stealing from poor people, American Indians would not have polluted the environment even if they had known how, George Washington was a racist, rich people enjoy stomping on poor people, the condom is mightier than the conscience, Christopher Columbus infected the natives with syphilis, one person’s opinion is as good as any other, the American Constitution was written by racists and sexists, Ronald Reagan is responsible for the spread of AIDS, teachers should be paid as much as NFL quarterbacks, sex between consenting children is inevitable, all sexual orientations are created equal, religious people are bigots, in the beginning there was a big explosion, a family is any collection of oddballs living under one roof, the right to kill babies is in the Constitution, it is un-American to have more than someone else does, the only hope of the world is for workers everywhere to unite, and it is the constitutional responsibility of government to provide jobs, housing, clothing, condoms, hot lunches, living wages, family leave, child care and band-aids to all citizens."

And as Oswald Spengler wrote, "What is truth? For the multitude, that which it continually reads and hears. A forlorn little drop may settle somewhere and collect grounds on which to determine “The Truth”-but what it obtains is just its truth. The other, the public truth of the moment, which alone matters for effects and successes in the fact-world, is today a product of the press. What the press wills, is true. Its commanders evoke, transform, interchange truths. Three weeks of press work, and the truth is acknowledged by everybody....A more appalling caricature of freedom of thought cannot be imagined. Formerly a man did not dare to think freely. Now, he dares, but cannot; his will to think is only a willingness to think to order, and this is what he feels is HIS liberty."

...balance and moderation...

This is great coming from someone with an imbalanced mind, and someone who can't moderate his mouth.
