Ignore it .. I hit the wrong key
Sorry about that :0(
Good morning, FRiend. Long time no FReep!
We had a very lovely 4th - I didn't want to come home, and we were only 20 miles away :)
How was your weekend?
Restful.
We didn't go anywhere, do anything, fire off any fireworks, we basically hibernated.
You didn't want to come home. We didn't want to leave home. :^)
Sounds great! A wonderful way to celebrate the 4th.
A horrible experience with traffic a few years ago cured us of 4th of July live events.
We were invited to a barbecue followed by a boat ride to watch the fireworks. Sounded like fun.
We left very early, but traffic was so bad we arrived too late to eat.
Everyone was waiting impatiently to leave, so we all rushed onto the boat and took off at high speed to get to where the fireworks would be.
I have to admit, the fireworks were wonderful with a completely unobstructed view, but not worth the hassle.
The less than ten mile trip home took a couple of hours more and we were starving. We stopped and got a pizza and ate it in the car. Got home in the middle of the night.
Now, every year we watch the Boston Pops Fireworks show in the comfort of our living room and laugh about the 4th of July we spent mostly in in our car.
ahhhh ... okay.
You can ignore my reply, too. :)
It would probably superseded it, but I'm not sure. I'd recommend just E-mailing JimRob with the monthly amount you want going in each month, and he can make the change for you or tell you what's involved. Or of course you can go to that donation page and make a one-time contribution which will not affect your monthly at all.
The easiest way, if you still have the Monthly Donation reminder from FR in your inbox, is to click the link that is specific for you to make changes.
If you have deleted the reminder, you can e-mail cc@freerepublic.com and state what changes you wish to make.
Thanks. I should have remembered that, but I have to be retrained after holiday weekends. :-)
I didn't get a reminder...is it possible you don't have my updated email addy?
;)
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Better late than never (I just read this thread and I am 'new-ish' to FR, so missed previous Quarter threads, too), I am mailing a donation for this Quarter.
Thank you, BIRDS!
Hi Jim,
If you could put Puerto Rico in the pull down menu of your on-line credit card form I would be able to donate online. And maybe even people other non-state U.S. jurisdictions wouldn't be discouraged to donate through that manner.
Just a thought.
Sincerely,
CLl
Thanks Jim. $50 check in the mail tomorrow, Friday July 8th.
Thank you, PGalt!!
Ok, I'll send an email to John. Thanks!
Cool! My pledge is $50.00.
