Here is what a lot of well meaning people forget.
It only takes one. Out of all the millions of sightings, close encounters, supposed or real molestings and everything else only "one" incident out of all that has to be true for there to be life, even intelligent life, beyond our wildest dreams, somewhere else in the universe.
At that point you have to ask yourself what are the odds there is nothing but us, nothing but our form of life. I would say very low.

But there is a world of difference between believing that there is intelligent life somewhere "out there", and believing that aliens are among us. Scepticism about UFO's and belief in alien life are not mutually exclusive.
