League management needs to have a word with this guy; I think he's taken a few too many pucks in the head. He's just become the poster boy for the NBA.

Actually, he was giving an excellent advice. Do not come there, do not watch (even on TV, let alone in person), do not buy anything connected with their league, do not consume their advertising - find better use for your time and money, and you will prosper thereby. I do not know about his IQ, but all the other things being equal, everyone following his advice should gain about 1 IQ point a year, and more than that in severe cases.

I saw the interview on TV. He also said the fans who are unhappy can "kiss my ass" and "go screw yourselves". Classy guy. I heard the audio clip on the radio. This guy has had one to many pucks to the head. How in the world are you going to get anybody into the seats after the stupid lockout and then these "wonderful" comments? If there is hockey again, I hope Roenick gets a "great" reception where ever he goes...

I think Mr Roenik would be wise to hire himself a publicist.
To: Red Badger
He's obviously so full of himself he's overflowing. I bet his IQ is the same as the number on his jersey or close to it....... I think you're giving him WAY too much credit.

People with mouths like his don't last long in sports.
I do have some respect for the parties in the hockey dispute. They are actually trying to reach an agreement, something both sides can agree to, not a fake "agreement" like one that a consumer signs when signing a 2 year cell phone "agreement" that's really a "take it or leave it" contract.

"Let the players negotiate contracts with sponsors and put patches all over their bulky uniforms like race car drivers." Put the sponsors' patches INSIDE the jersey, so when they get their jersey yanked over their head in one of their "fights" everyone will see it. That would encourage more fighting, which is what hockey fans pay to see anyway.

I have never been to a professional hockey game {and with this guys attitude I don't think he qualifies}, but did enjoy watching the minor league Hawks in Great Falls Montana.
I wonder which is higher - this guys IQ or the number of his teeth?
I use to go to baseball games too before their last strike. Haven't been back and don't plan too go either.

Hey Jeremy...There is a saying about holes and the one you guys are in is so deep that there may be some heat from an unexpected source.
