Heroes? They've got lots of heroes.

Che Guevara
Sean Penn
Rosie O'Donnell
Al Franken
Whoopi Goldberg
Ted "the swimmer" Kennedy
90% of the press
The Clinton crime family
5/9ths of the Supreme Court
etc,. etc,. etc....

I could go on but i'm feeling nauseous

-" not metaphorically, you understand, but physically -- thrown to the lions in Madison Square Garden is next."

Emotion driven children.

Liberalism is a mental illness.

The only thing they're wondering is how they can force us to trust them.

Good one, you might be right:

Thanks. I thought twice before I posted her.

Here is a lineup of of a few more Cinderellas.
How many heroes do they need, anyway?

If Bush succeeds in loading the Supreme Court with Clarence Thomas clones, the prospect of seeing Democrats actually -- not metaphorically, you understand, but physically -- thrown to the lions in Madison Square Garden is next.

He lost it right there in the article. The rest of his rant went right this way.

This thing's just loaded with these hysterical ravings. If the author was engaging in "illustrating absurdity by being absurd", I'd say this was a pretty good piece.

But, these guys actually believe this will happen to them unless the evil Chimpy Bushitler is dragged from office and handed over gift-wrapped to the Hague.

Please note the casual use of hate imagery by a liberal writer that seems to assume that the audience does not include Republicans:

>If Bush succeeds in loading the Supreme Court
>with Clarence Thomas clones, the prospect of
>seeing Democrats actually -- not metaphorically,
>you understand, but physically -- thrown to the
>lions in Madison Square Garden is next.

and

>Yes, we're only months away from becoming a
>chain gang. If we lose in 2006 and 2008, expect
>to see Democrats from every state working on
>the weed gangs along the highways from Alabama
>to North Dakota, shamed and humbled, dressed in
>orange jump suits with a big, white "DEMO" on
>the back.

It was the casual and wide spread use of this is the kind of hate speech that got Pym Fortune in the Netherlands and an Israeli prime minister (blanking on the name) dead.

If I were Ann Coulter or Michelle Malkin, I would not take speaking engagements on a university campus without a bullet proof vest and an armed body guard. The one thing these nuts have proved to date is that outspoken conservative women drive them insane and they like to bully and hurt them because they see them as weak traitors, AKA good targets.

You're right. Our people have to be careful. On many levels. The radical left also has their trolls on this site using the "throw them to the lions" hate stuff here. They're trying to make it look like both sides are the same. Then the little trolls throw in some conservative stuff to make it look real. They cast doubt on our guys, use hate language that make us appear as bad as they are, and other mind control/social psychology techniques...

I see the effect of George Sorose money - he pays his squads of liars to move into the world and do damage. And we're part of that world. If that's not totalitarian, nothing is.

" ...wimpy George Allen of Virginia and Bill Frist ......

" ...pathetic Norm Coleman of Minnesota ..."

No personal invective here !! The author has just pulled adjectives out of thin air that in no way apply.

Somehow, I would like to SEE the author confront "wimpy" George Allen !

They're saying the Democratic Party has no plan, no vision and, at this date, no credible candidate who can go up against the Rove Machine. I agree.

We're going to be like Marlon Brando in the back of that cab, whining, "We could have been a contender."

As the rumors of summer grow, who is out there who is our golden boy, our "Cinderella Man," who can lead us out of the desert, cutting short the 40 years of dry matzohs with cheap sauterne?

I thought Mt. George would have exploded already. I know Torre is going to take the blame. The fact is they have too many useless millionaires who stink. They should get ride of:

Giambi
Johnson
Mussina
Pavano
Wright
Rodriguez

Time for some young and talented blood. They should have kissed the ground that Andy Pettitte walked on also. I guess we will have to struggle through the drought, after all I did it in the early 70's and the 80's :(

Are you a Taxachussets Yankee fan?

Angcat -- I think George is dead and they just have his body double for public appearances. Talk about not getting your money's worth. This season is a lost cause -- so many things wrong that no trade or acquisition could turn it around. They should dump as many big names as possible and pick up some prospects, take their lumps for a few years and rebuild. This team is completely lacking in heart, but I think most of the blame starts with The Boss himself, who handed out insane contracts to Giambi and Johnson, then secondarily this shadowy Tampa gang which signs people like Wright and Pavano, and then Cashman, who did not want to get Vladimir Guerrero or David Ortiz when they were available. Plenty of blame to go around.

And no, I'm not from Boston, just sent here for the job. I'm from the Philly area, but a lifelong Yankees fan (which is usually a good thing to be, but not this year -- reminds me of the Stump Merrill era of Spike Owen and Andy Hawkins.) I see you are in PA -- near Philly? The Phils are my backup NL team, but they're blowing pretty bad themselves right now. Although I don't expect anything better from them!!

They've got a hero.

Unfortunately for them, he's an impeached, perjuring, disbarred rapist.

It's getting late in liberal land. Do you know where our "Cinderella" is?

Her name is Hillary and she is actually one of the ugly evil stepsisters.

I just thanked my co-worker for the great weekend the Phil's gave to Boston. I am in Drums PA it is 10 miles north of Hazleton and 23 miles south of Wilkes Barre via interstate 81. Nice and scenic but very hillbilly and bad food and bad malls! Otherwise very cheap living and good school for my girls. According to the Post King George is having a meeting today! We shall see!
