No you are not. The UCC is a liberal gay-friendly denomination. The new anti-Semites are liberal-left, not conservative right. And for what it's worth, not everyone who believes that we shouldn't squander American money on foreign protection is anti-Semitic.
1) CINO = "Christian In Name Only."
2) The article has nothing to do with foreign aid.
Very interesting...
This has nothing to do with foreign protection. It is about these liberal churches removing all their private investments from companies that do business in Israel in order to make Israel a pariah state, while ignoring greater atrocities in other countries.
If your church is conservative and your church does not follow what the UCC leaders proclaim, then why is your church still a member of the UCC?
My understanding of the UCC governance is that a church can leave with their property at any time the congregation votes to leave.
If my understanding is correct, then I do not understand why any conservative church would remain a part of the UCC.
Can you enlighten me as to why conservative UCC churches stay with the denomination?
Sorry. I have seen the anagram used for Conservative In Name Only. Wanted to point out that UCC is NOT conservative, even nominally.

True. I have just seen the term anti-Semite used so indiscriminately on this forum that I questioned its use. It was probably warranted regarding this situation. I find it odd, I must say.

Not necessarily true. It is about the Israeli response to the UCC divestiture. It says zip about why the UCC is choosing to divest. BTW, I am not a friend of the UCC.
No argument.

I suspect it's a combination of anti-Semitism, anti-Americanism, and leftist trendiness, with considerable overlap in the three categories.
