we invaded Afghanistan, took down the Taliban, and left without capturing Usama Bin Laden
Did I miss the announcement that we had left Afghanistan?!?!

"I remember in Feb 2002, in the middle of operation anaconda, the DEMS were demanding Bush come up with an exit strategy from Afghanistan."Yep, and it was also a Quagmire too. ;-)

Glad to see Kristen has her trusty thesaurus right beside her. Really I sympathize her 9/11 loss - but that doesn't mean she is not an idiot. She is.

I have often wished and prayed that absolutely no one had died on 9/11.
This goes double for Kristen's husband. She should never have been given a soap box for any reason. She is a loon.

John Kerry sent this out in an email just today:Well, John Kerry has left in his wake a record of comments on how he assesses terrorism and the threat it poses and how to deal with it:
Kerrys Exaggerated Terror Problem
excerpt:
At a nationally televised debate on January 29, Massachusetts senator John F. Kerry delivered the jaw-dropping assessment that the threat of terrorism had been "exaggerated" by the Bush administration. Terrorism, he asserted, was "primarily an intelligence and law enforcement operation that requires cooperation around the world the very thing this [Bush] administration is worst at."
Hm, that is exactly what Rove observed when he said:
liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments...
To: texasmountainman
my brave son and his fellow troops are fighting the enemy over there and not here and that is why we have not had any attacks over here.Dam right. Please thank your son for his service and for keeping us safe.

Now Karl, a question for you, since you seem to be the nation's self-styled sensei with regard to 9/11: Is Usama Bin Laden still important? Lately, your coterie of friends seems to be giving out mixed messages. Recall that in the early days, Bin Laden was wanted dead or alive. Then when Bin Laden slipped through your fingertips in Tora Bora, you downgraded his importance. We were told that Bin Laden was a "desperate man on the run, and a person that President Bush was not "too worried about". Yet, whenever I saw Bin Laden's videos, he looked much too comfortable to actually be a man on the run. He looked tan, rested, and calm. She is wound up to tight and it's just a matter of time before she snaps

I understand that New Jersey will never run out of drinkable water as long as people in New York continue to flush toilets.
New Jersey really breads some ignorant voters.
