I have two relatives in Afghanistan, and come from a military family. I support the War on Terror, and YOU are attributing improper motivations to me because I criticise the President.
That's botism.
And I never tell where I received any of my five university degrees because of stalkers. However, I'm teaching history now, and will be teaching a course in World War II history in the spring.
A PhD means I'm a credentialed know-it-all, and can make a tidy living passing my views on to the young, whose parents pay a pretty penny for the privilege, just as I did when I was their age.
You aren't ON television. You're in FR. We prefer facts to spin. So while you're looking up that quote, please look for the article that says "religious people get all warm and fuzzy when the man is mentioned." Perhaps you could define "religious people", as well.
My daddy used to say "educated idiot," because he, too, was intimidated by college-educated people, just like you. Then, he got his BA, and later his MA, and no longer says that.
When I asked you the question, the last thing on my mind was to stalk you.
Until you have been on the battlefield yourself, it is all theory!
Nah, it's pushing ten o-clock in the evening, and I prefer to spend my research efforts on my book treatments. I'm supposed to have these ready for my editor by September, and it looks like I may not make it.
Yeah, right. And I have an early shoot in the morning for the cover of Vogue so I wouldn't be able to wait up for you to come up with any REAL information.
I agree. I was turned down by the navy at 19 because of a medical problem which has given me NO PROBLEMS in the years since. I still feel cheated.
Getting a PhD was the best I could do. It's opened doors of understanding and also social doors you wouldn't believe, though.
And don't take my ribbing seriously, please. I mean no harm. This is just the internet, after all.
I was joking. The story about my daddy is true, and he got his master's when he was nearly 60.
My daddy is awesome.
Publishing opportunities are one of the doors that a PhD opens for a person. Previous to this year, all I got was "not interested", many, many times over.
I'm sitting on hundreds of hours of interviews with WWII veterans, just waiting to spread the word about THAT awesome generation...
And I have great respect for your daddy. Education is someing that can never be taken from you.
Don't tell me--you're both contemporaries of my late mother!
No, I'm not impressed with his education. I don't believe him. His post are all insulting, DU-like generalizations.
I'll NEVER equal him: veteran of three wars, raised two handsome children, and his patience while fishing is legendary.
Quite the man.
You are right, I wish you well.
One of our boys is active duty and this is a serious war to us. Hope that you understand.
Well, of course, it was a "mistake."
All by design - just look at the PNAC documents and learn all about it boys and girls.
My relatives are dear to me. A buddy of mine recently returned safe and sound from Iraq--but he was an Air Force doody, and never left his base, anyway//kidding
Let's all gang up!
Yikes!
