Who cares about social security, after the land grab decision by the marxist supreme court. Property is about the only true asset many people have, and if they don't have that....then social security doesn't mean sh*t.
I reqd somewhere that the radicals who penned the "Rights of Man" used in the Frnech Revolution determined that the rights of all citizens derive from the State.
Up until recently, in America, it was determined that all political power resides in the people and that they enjoy rights granted by God.
What God has granted the State cannot give away.
This includes property rights, the right to self defense, etc.
That is why this recent decision by the Supreme Leftists is so dangerous. They are applying European principles of governance. In short order we be told that it is incumbent upon the accused to proove his innocence, not for the state to prove his guilt. An accusation will be adequate.
