Does anyone know: Are the missing Marines thought to have been captured or is this a situation where they can't find/identify remains?

Answered my own question:
MSNBC - "Three Marines and a sailor believed to be in the vehicle are currently listed as Duty Status Whereabouts Unknown pending a positive identification" of the bodies, the statement said.
