I think they are saying the fathers involved in some way in the cover up. I read somewhere that the authorities down there checked the dads banking records and found he went to the ATM the night the girl disappeared 3 times at 300 am. and 3.45 am in the morning. Seems strange to need cash that late,but then again it's a party town. But I thought the mom said her husband was sound asleep? Who knows?

For someone who should know how law enforcement works down there, pvds is just stupid! He either didn't know they could trace his bank actions and didn't know LE sometimes bugs houses and taps phones, or he was absolutely panic stricken, or thought due to his position, they'd cover for him.
Can't wait to find out how many other mistakes he's made.

And that the wife was in Holland. That could explain a lot!
But who knows what reports are accurate, after some news outlet (Fox?) reported Natalee's body had been found a couple of weeks ago.
