Many have done a great job in re-defining what I have clearly stated but for clarification here is what I have said. First, I think there is significant evidence against Joran, he is probably responsible. My heart breaks for this family and their loss. My child would never give a statement to anyone until I knew the facts and then he or she would have the appropriate representation. I would never turn him over to the bereaved and frantic parents, of a victim at 3:00 in the morning without an arrest warrant, which is why I have referred to this as a posse and vigilantism. My opinion is that Jug Twitty's statements to the press have been counter-productive and self-serving. This is a quote from an interview by Greta with Jug Twitty on June 17th, the other interview discussing the 3:00 am encounter followed this several days later, which I can not find but had the same tone. I found one "we" and numerous "me," "my" and "I" in this simple paragraph. "Well, we have plenty of people down here searching. Of course, my friends have been down here searching. And you know, I'm basically relying on the Aruban police and government, and I have full confidence now. And I've been through some ups and downs. This thing is so big that, you know, I think it just caught them by surprise. And they've never had anything like this. But I've been assured, like I said, by the FBI and by the Aruban police and through updates every day that they're getting closer." So for what it is worth, FLAME ON Freepers.
Your fine sense of reasoning will be missed. More careful reading and writing such as yours is a valuable asset on this forum.
There are many of us who just jump in and write one-liners where the point of view is not always clearly stated. Or read other comments too quickly.
