Why is posse such a bad word? People think it's like cowboy or something. Posse's were people helping the law.
Words change meaning sometimes. When "the world" was calling GWB a 'cowboy,' I took that as a compliment for the president until I was shown the light!
Guess I'm one of the few who has never met a bad cowboy! LOL! Same deal on posse...my experiences give 'posse' a positive connotation. Others mileage may vary!

I agree, there is nothing wrong with the word possee to me either. It means a group of people seeking justice. Plain and simple.
