Here is an interesting take on the Holloways/Twittys at the very start of Natalee's disappearance. If this potential scenario is close to right, Beth may have been hopping mad, coming over in a private plane to get her daughter who in her mind was having a romantic runaway time with some local Aruban Romeo... How horrible that it wasn't just that.

The Lisping Lothario, Geraldo, whined on the air yesterday that there were Dutch Marines on the Island already (stationed there) and the authorities were not allowing them to help the Equusearchers. Guess he got something done!
