Yes... but GSM can be traced just like the others, right?
We are talking about if they can trace Joran cell calls to trace which towers he was connecting to on the island?


The system appears to be GSM, because they sell several GSM phones and mention SIM cards. However, I simply do not know if they have the special capabilites to trace the calls. In the US T-Mobile, Cingullar, and AT&T use GSM phones, which may give you a clue.

Here is the GSM info for SETAR... check out the Mobile Country Code for Curacao Telecom (362). I suppose JVDS's online IDs of "loverboy362" and "broken_hart_loverboy362" maybe easily explained with his country code. Any thoughts?
