There is no dead body; we don't know what statements were made and who made them; we don't know what evidence exists of a crime, if any; any and all "facts" we know are from FoxNews in their nonstop breathless and often premature reporting.

Evidence is objective and proof is subjective. The FACT that JvdS and his friends told a bald faced lie is objective evidence they had something to do with Natalee being missing. That is a fact which cannot be overlooked. It might not be strong enough to convict under Arubian law, but I would have no trouble returning a GUILTY VERDICT for murder against Joran vdS based on his lie.

No, we don't know for sure. BUT, they have miserably botched this case from day one. Every detective, FBI person etc from this country that I have seen interviewed, has said so. They let the three main suspects go, they let the evidence go, they didn't search the homes for evidence immediately. So, at this point I am willing to bet they would love to cover up their stupidity at the very least.
