"Where's our FBI ...?"

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,160654,00.html

"Separately Friday, a source familiar with the investigation told FOX the FBI only has three agents in Aruba working on the case, down from seven. The source, who requested anonymity, said the team has been reduced because there is not much to investigate now that arrests have been made."

{{{Not much to investigate now that arrests have been made}}}

Does that unattributed statement make sense? Not to me.

If an FBI source really said this, it almost sounds like irony, sarcasm, etc. Like they are washing their hands of it because they have not been allowed to do their jobs and somebody else has all the say.

Funny, too, that some arrestees are now being released. Suppose they are all released, eventually. What a crackpot statement this will appear to be THEN!

Since the FBI is leaving and the Arubian authorities appear to be going into hibernation, Fox needs to turn Greta lose on the case again. She stirs the American public up with her strong investigative reporting. We simply cannot allow the authorities to sweep this case under the carpet.
