I doubt a ferry would run
at late night hours.
And a car going on a
ferry would have to
have an "owner."

Cars would be inspected
and one would need a
passport/visa prior to
boarding the ferry.

I agree. A ferry is unlikely. The fruit and vegetable ships already engage in people smuggling. Apparently they have people paid off, or know how to game the system.

Speaking of cars - any news about that pickup being abandoned associated with the guy that was murdered?

Wonder if the FBI was allowed access to that vehicle.
the guy can't talk anymore but "just maybe" the vehicle has some evidence.
