Amazing isn't it. I heard that for the first time last night on Greta (who else!) She said they were following up on this because this man has not left the island and hasn't been found yet. Of course as fast as the news is moving on this story, this may have been solved already. I don't know.
This is a bogus lead. Many people OWN timeshares in Aruba. They go down for three or four months at a time.
Why would a guy who owns a timeshare become "suspicious" just because he hasn't "left the island" or been "found" yet?
Some people like to maintain their privacy when they are on vacation. Also, some people never watch TV or read a paper while on vacation.
Greta was just trying to appear "fair and balanced".
