I know all around Caracas, (I lived there), sharks infest the waters.
Who thinks sharks say, "We can't go near Aruban waters, it's a major tourist area."
LOL. I thought PETA said sharks were smart.
We have been to Curacao which is one of the ABC islands next to Aruba and while beautiful, there were definite neighborhoods where one didn't venture at night because of the crime.
And, they had nets up at the inlet where we swam. No reason to do that but to keep the sharks out.
Four Colombians have been found dead on the reefs off the coast of Aruba the last two days. They were trying to enter the island illegally by boat. The captain of the boat has been charged with several counts of murder, because according to the lone surviving witness, he pushed the people out of the boat some distance away from the coast of the island. .."
