"he originally gave to the cops were inconsistent with media interviews...Greta strikes again!"That's what everyone was saying here yesterday, I think. Once again FR beats the MSM. (not Greta though, she is way ahead of us)

Hope your words find God's Ear. Something ironic in all this, too. An honor student, good family, good life, and she becomes a victim of violence. You have to wonder how a streetwise kid would have fared in the same conditions. (Or someone not so striking.) It's also true that most in the US are incredibly naive. We go abroad and think that everybody's just like us. Not wise, at least not these days.

They discussed that about a week ago on Fox and I believe they said no one has ever been prosecuted for murder in Aruba without a body or confession. And, the Netherlands has only had one case like that.
This is not based on fact that I researched, only what they discussed in one of the interviews done in Aruba.

Somebody on Fox said that even if N had been dumped at sea, her body might surface in a few weeks. If this isn't solved, if she isn't found and charges are never lodged, the possibility of her body floating back to shore should hang over their heads and cause sleepless nights.

Greta has been a giant. Absolutely amazing, and she doesn't toot her own horn. In fact, she was very gracious about her former employer, CNN, dogging her steps yesterday. She keeps her counsel and just smiles, but you know she knows a heck of a lot more than she can say. (She is such a contrast to poor Geraldo.)

As the search became more desperate and the tips became more bizarre, missions into the island's darkest barrios, including the red-light district and assorted crack houses, were orchestrated. The editor of the island newspaper informed the family that a group of drug dealers were holding Natalee for a $10,000 ransom (an odd amount considering that the posted reward was in excess of $50,000). A late-night rendezvous between the drug dealers and family friends was arranged, and after a wild series of events an American girl was rescued by the police, who called to report that "they are 98-percent sure they have Natalee." The family raced to the police station only to discover that the female in custody had dark hair, brown eyes, weighed about 130 pounds, and looked to be about 45 years old. Natalee had blonde hair, blue eyes, weighed 110 pounds, and was 18 years old. That was the first of many letdowns and false leads. Odd

No body=no trial.
They need a body to prove murder.
Unless somebody confesses.

I just heard that, too. Funny, Fox said one thing a half hour ago, now they're back to the three agent story. Who knows?

"Remember that witness that saw some struggle on the beach, two men and a woman?"Does anyone know who this witness was, has he been interviewed...do we need to send Greta in?
I'm wondering if he thought he saw a struggle or maybe JVDS called PVDS because she couldn't be revived from a drug he gave her and they were trying to revive her or pick her up to dispose of her?

Once again FR beats the MSM.I have had the feeling these last few days that we're WAY ahead of this story and we have to wait for the MSM to catch up.

To be fair, teenagers are putting themselves in danger here in America every day too. I think young'uns have always tended to be reckless/naive at times, but nowadays the parents indulge them more with fast cars, parties and exotic trips.

The guy in the middle is "Freddy", not Satish. He is pictured in a handful of photos drinking with JvdS.

I saw an Arubian attorney on TV and he stated one can be charged with murder even if a body was not found IF THE EVIDENCE IS SUFFICENT.

We've been on vacation for the past 2 weeks.....no Fox News! Just CNN, occasionally. ugh
I have a few questions.....been reading the threads, trying to catch up. Have any of NH's friends been interviewed? I read above that they waited in the hotel lobby til 5am for her. Did they notify anyone that she didn't return? Did they know she met Joran at a casino? Had she been hanging out with him? So much has happened since those first hours that she was missing, but it all seems to go back to him and the brothers. I get the feeling that she had ditched her friends after meeting this guy so they weren't concerned when she left the bar with him. But I haven't seen any interviews with them, so I could be wrong.
I pray she is alive, somewhere.....

When both parents have to work to keep a roof over the family, there's a tendency to 'give' the kids material things to make up for lack of attention. Happens all the time, and it never works.

Talking about GHB , it's been banned by the FDA. What the kids are doing these day is drinking Sally Hansen finger nail polish remover non-acetone. It is 100% gammabutyro lactone which is converted to GHB in the body. My 23 yo brother-in-law was drinking about 6 bottles of this stuff a day until he decided to detox 3 days before Christmas 2003. He was strapped to a bed in ICU for 3 days before he finally came around.
Whenever he would take too much his "recovering" meth head girlfriend would bring him to our house I guess because both of us are pharmacists. Try explaining to a 7 and 4 year old what's wrong with Brian.
Surprisingly it is odorless and colorless and he would mix it with whatever he was drinking at the time. He was living with the in-laws at the time and our kids were forbidden to drink out of any glass that was left out.

I went to KU in the early sixties, and knew a student from Aruba. Steve was a real party animal, and described the night life there as really wild. He said he never took "no" from any woman. Mind you, that was over forty years ago, but I will say he reminded me of JVDS.

That's a big IF.
Sounds typical for Aruba, from what I've heard so far.
