I don't have time right now but I found some personal pictures of the Fisherman Huts in aruba on Webshots a couple dyas ago. You could try a keyword search there if you like. But I will do the search later tonight and will let you know what I come up with. The ones I saw on webshots looked like abobes with vent holes and wood doors.
Ok.. I stand corrected.
There are at least 15 cell towers on the island - this is now known from doing some research.
Can you give me a MSM resource for these ATM transactions?
I saw her as well, she seemed giddy to me like she was on something. I think most of the population on that island are a bunch of drunks and/or addicts. Party on.....
Bingo!!
J is not the kind of guy that is going to walk anywhere!! He's used to driving or using his friends as taxicabs. He has that upper class mentality that they have going on down there.
"HELP - POLICE?! how to contact?! I cannot find any web address info for police stations in Aruba. I am trying to get info on their current investigation on the DISAPPEARANCE (ABDUCTION? MURDER?) of a teenaged girl during our local high school's trip to Aruba. How can I reach them?!"
"The child's mother has flown to Aruba to help look for her. Our only source for information is the travel agent, who is not receiving much info,..."
She goes on to mention 2 other kidnapped girls that were rescued by aruba police. Lots of posts. Dated May 31st.
Yes... walking home would have been Joran's last resort. I believe that he would even call the brothers in the middle of the night to ask them for a ride home before he would hoof it on foot. The brothers probably told him no or or they let him down gently and told to try and find another way home and if you can't find a ride home from someone else then call us back. The text messages was to let the brother know he made it home after calling them for a ride home.
I think that's Dash's mom.
I hate to think of how this story will end. Doesn't look like they're going to find a body. The news media will soon jump to a new and bigger story and the case will then fall into the recycle bin. It would be nice to have some answers before that happens. Sure looks like JVDS will get away with murder.
No, but those were reported in the press.
Thanks. Has anything on the purported 2 other girls turned up?
Think so, too. The nearest one may be in Caracas.
Sounds very plausible.
I make it about 2.5 miles at most from Cali lighthouse to the van der Sweat house, -does that sound right to you Brigette?
MSNBC interviewing Aruba's chief prosecutor.
"Others were text messaged."
Emails, text messages, cell records, ATM records.
"Harm done to the investigation by the father and the family."
Harm or obstructed.
Father HAS spoken with the three suspects and she thinks it went further than legal advice.
He said "If there is no body there is no crime."
The parents have asked one of the released guys to come to the home and tell them what he told the police!
I tend to agree with you, that the brothers really DID go home and were not involved in the murder or body hiding. I do think that they may have been asked to lie by the VDS's (assuming the Dad), and may have believed some bull from him like "You HAVE to do this, boys. You are as involved as Joran. Hang tight with this story and this will all blow over in a couple of weeks. My friends in the justice and police depts will see to that."
I don't think that 1+ hour was enough time to dispose of the body. I still think the body hiding came AFTER Joran made that text message to Deepak.
I do not think Joran intended to kill Natalee. However, rough sex with a very intoxicated person would be manslaughter at the least. I don't even know whether the father was involved in her death; another scenario might have Natalee struggling for breath or still with a HB or pulse when Dad VDS shows, and he decides they'd get in less trouble if Natalee just went for a long swim rather than bring her to the hospital, where a rape kit would show the VDS DNA. This is just one of a million scenarios, but it does involve murder one.
Good! When does she present new evidence to have the perps held over again?
------>A couple of days after she went missing, the father told the boys "if there is no body, there is no crime."
