This new judge is not bending to any pressure from "outside". No evidence, no crime. Suspects go free.
But, you don't know that. They said, 'not enough evidence' for croes, not 'no evidence'. As for the dad, after he agreed to waive his rights about testifying against his son, he was released.
If she is in there, then pray they get some evidence. They had to weigh her down with something. She may be wrapped in or with something that came from one of the boys homes.
If she is wrapped up, then she might have fought and may have DNA under her fingernails.
I don't know what to think about this news.
I have always heard criminals in their rush to cover their tracks make big mistakes. It is possible that they dumped her so close to the VDS home.
Sending prayers out for her family, it must be an agonizing wait.
I hope they finally have break in the case. I've been lurking on your thread since it began and you all have been doing a wonderful job covering it.
LOL. I thought it was Paydov.
Not after this length of time & in water.
Unless she was vacuum sealed. Not likely.
I'm reminded of the unconfirmed fishing hut break-in.
Trace evidence would be sent off to Dutch labs. I'm leery ...
If Steve Croes could/did not provide a boat to dump a body at sea they may have had to settle for what was close at hand and known to them and where a body would be unlikely to be found by local Aruban LEA.
Wonder if this is why Nat's mom couldn't go on tv last night. Maybe she knew.
Another thing - if she is that close to the VDS's home. Then they may have evidence that she on the VDS's property.
She may be wrapped tightly in plastic, this would preserve and fibers from a crime scene. I just pray that they pulled the right things from the boy's homes. Like any leftover rope, plastic sheeting, tape, etc. in the event they find any this items with her body.
SM:
Police has just arrived, they marked a place, the team is now in the water in the dam (squarry?) and they are under water searching.
Though police is there, no one official yet
Teo.
The reporter Randy Maduro said he will contact Top 95 if there is any new development.
I wonder, could the dogs have hit on the old corpse.
I don't know what to think. She knows a lot more than we know, that's for certain.
at this point, all we can hope for is that they find her body and that she can somehow incriminate them.
Would the sonar have worked in the quarry?
I feel differently - all it takes is for her to wrapped up tightly in a plastic sheet (not vacuumed sealed) - She might be stuffed in a barrell or drum.
If she was in the vdS home I hopeful that when she's found there are trace fibers.
