I know you didn't mean it the way it sounded, demkicker. The nightmare is for Natalee's family, not the Island of Aruba.
One by one (it appears) they
are letting them go....
The release of the dad will
not please NH's family.
I wonder why he didn't have to wait in jail until tomorrow, like steve croes.
Didn't I see a pic. of Steve C.,
on this thread going home?
He was all smiles.....
No shite.
I go shampoo my hair, shower and come back to:

Dutch Suspect's Dad Released in Aruba Case
By PETER PRENGAMAN, Associated Press Writer
ORANJESTAD, Aruba - Aruban police freed the father of a Dutch suspect arrested in the disappearance of an Alabama teenager, the man's wife said, hours after a party boat disc jockey held in the case was ordered released.
Anita van der Sloot said the most important thing for her now "is that my son comes (out) free."
No immediate comment was available from officials about the release of Paul van der Sloot, 52, a high-ranking justice official who is studying to be a judge on the Dutch Caribbean island. He was arrested Thursday as a suspect for collaborating in a crime with his son, according to his lawyer A.J. Swan.
"A little bit of the nightmare clouds are now disappearing," his wife told The Associated Press. "The truth will always come forward. From the beginning I trusted everything would be fine."
I thought it was him leaving the court house.
SC gets released tomorrow at 1pm.

going home.
I think it was the end of PvdS's eight day holding period, and tomorrow SC's ends. Don't hold me to it.
Just got home! I can't believe they let the dad go! What the h ll is going on here!?
Poor Beth.
" Something seems wrong about this roller coaster treatment of PVdS. One day their giddy with interest and excitement over his detention, then poof!""
I agree, Txrangerette. Especially since Natalee's Mom was so sure the Dad was somehow involved, due to something he said to her earlier this week. This is pure speculation, but could the fix be - Juran will be charged, but won't serve much time due to his age of 17. The *frame the security guards* didn't work, so now - will it be just the son??? Pardon my pure T speculation. :)
Also, it's strange that the news of PVDS being a so called Failure of Judge Test, just came out last night. Why wasn't that information available from the start?? As time goes on, there's more questions than answers in this case.

You are correct maggiefluffs.
This will be a major blow to her.
She's been so certain the dad has great involvement in this.
Did Geraldo annouce it in advance or is he still to busy flirting. He has been a big reporting disappointment today, not that that is anything unusual.
Are you guys sure? I think it might have the end of the 48 hour period. He probably would have been released yesterday if the Judge hadn't missed the plane. He was loose this week having interviews with Beth and Greta, wasn't he?
WOW! Thanks for answering. I missed everything. Whats the response from the mother of Natalee? I'D BE LIVID!
