I would think that if Joran withdrew money to give to Natalee to help out with her losses he would have done it before he met back up with her. Hate to say, but if he hoped to get something that night, it would have made a good impressiion. 3AM is awfully late for him to decide to be so generous.

I think you're right about these guys.

The island of Aruba is a tourist mecca where lots of young women come for vacation and party time. They were living the high life of women, sex, alcohol and drugs. They were probably used to getting their way, taking advantage perhaps on the woman's last night on the island, maybe even using date rape drugs where the woman doesn't remember what happened. It's all about power and bragging rights for them I suspect.

Something went terribly wrong this time.

Yes there are a lot of other scenarios, but I can't get past this bunch lying over and over and over again. If they are innocent, why are they lying?

Yes, I saw that statement last night too. My point has been: I did not see or hear that he actually met Natalee. He probably saw all the kids there, weren't there a bunch of them? But, true, that might have been what caught the ears of the LE if he had not mentioned that to them before, and so they are questioning precisely what the nature of his knowledge of her was - sight of her from across the room or an actual, up close "meeting."

However, I would think they had already established that he had been at the Casino with Joran, so I would also assume they would believe he could have "seen" her, as well as others, there. The actual "meeting" of Natalee, IIRC, has not been actually stated. If you find it, or hear it, I would love to know. That would be significant, I have stated previously.

HOLLOWAY: To my knowledge, they have had a psychic come in. I don't know what the outcome of that was.

Natalee's mom or aunt said they had a psychic offer her services early in the investigation. The psychic said she was in contact with Natalee. Beth asked, "Please ask Natalee the name of the dog she loves?"
