Well now. The only way to overcome this is for Congress to pass a law that voids the decision. They can do it, but how to get it done?

You'd probably have more luck going through your state legislature and ban this in your state. Some state constitutions might already ban it.

You could wait forever for that to happen if you so choose. It would be easier to amend your own state constitution to clamp down on what is now permissible under the US Constitution. You won't be able to stop the feds from a taking but most actions are local. It does mean that the stakes just got raised in the election of local officials.

The only ways that I know of to overturn this decision is another Supreme reversal or a Constitutional Amendment.

You have to be joking right. The 535 people that are bought and paid for by big business are going to vote to curtail the rights of the people that pay for their perks? Yeh when pigs fly. This has to be a local challenge. We must get the local laws set up right so this can not happen and work the way up to the sate then the federal level only with a grass roots campaign will this be reversed
