It should. The taking of private property, the homes of American citizens, at the behest of those with bigger bank accounts for the sole purpose of building bigger homes for American citizens with larger pockets should bother us all.

I find that people that rent rather than buy homes, will care little about this question because it is not their investment being stolen by the government.
If taking away property that you poured your earnings into, made high monthly payments for years, developed it, improved it and the government come in and give you 10 cents on the dollar?
I would think that could eventually cause an uprising.
