oh man, you got that right ... I'm a Brown Belt in Kung-Fu, and a Green Belt in Karate. I am currently taking Krav Maga and advanced Kick Boxing.

I'm just curious - are you doing all of these simultaneously? If not, why haven't you stuck with any one of these arts to the point of mastery (black belt and beyond) before going on to the next one?

No.  Not simultaneously.  I was into Kung-Fu for a few years and attained Brown-Belt status.  The school I was at in Florida went under and I couldn't find somplace like it.  I stopped for a looong time, but kept up with my Kata (Forms).

I started taking Ryuyko Kempo about 2 years ago because my daughter wanted to get into it.  At the same time I started taking Kick-Boxing.

I took some time off from Kempo to look into Krav Maga and attained my first rank (yellow).

Meanwhile the Ryuyko studio bit the dust.

Last year I had a severe leg injury and had to wear a steel brace for many months.  I am currently at about 85% recovery and will jump back into Krav Maga as soon as I feel confident.  I practice at home but still feel self-conscious about going to the school.

BTW, My daughter (11 years old) is now a Purple Belt and won a gold medal for sparring and Kata!  I am looking for a school she can join since the other one is now gone.
