He has introduced no serious legislation and has been basically a political hack throwing press conferences whenever there is something in the news so he can make a comment on. Why we in Illinois elected him is beyond explanation.

Pull your head out of your butt. I have 2 nephews (Marines) and a cousin (Army) who are active duty. All three are outraged at Durbin's remarks and his lack of an apology.

I am an Air Force veteran myself SAC 72-76 and as such I remember the average enlisted man in the Air Force fell a little short of the dedication level I had expected. That was the primary reason I did four and out. If the people you talked to don't care about this, it's because they don't care in general.

Nope. Most USAF units don't even have PT after basic. Especially Comm Squadrons. PT is NCO Club on 50 cent beer night.

What was your Squadron's Commander? Where did you go to Tech School? What month? If you went in 1983 as a 702...you haven't got credentials. You got favoritism.

My last unit was 3rd TFW/3rd AGS /3rd AMU - Gen. Merril McPeake was the PACAF Commander, he pushed "Project Warrior" We had PT every week. I pulled/carried a 75 pound toolbox everyday, climed aircraft ladders and stairs, and endured all kinds of weather. We fixed the planes day and night, 24hr shifts and blood sweat and tears went into every jet fixed. Who got the incentive rides? the paper pusher who complains about paper cuts.

We had a young LT that came to the unit. He decided that he was going to disrupt the way things were. Well, we got him...

This LT fell in love with a bar girl in Angeles (clark AB), we had a real skank in our bunch that had every STD you could imagine...(couldn't keep his pants on). Well, he paid the barfine on this girl of the LT desires and had the usual "short time". That night, the LT came into the bar, paid the barfine on the same girl. LT had to go get some shots a few days latter, two shots one in each cheek, of Trobicin...He couldn't sit down for a week!
